The prophet Jeremiah taught us to seek the peace and prosperity of the city. That's why Interfaith Action congregations have been leaders in making the city and the region a better place: faith without works has no meaning. Through FAITH & FAMILIES: RESTORING HOPE, Interfaith Action aims to share our story of success, listen to the pain of our people, and create an action agenda that will help us rebuild our lives and community. A centerpiece of this initiative is Sharing an Hour of Hope, where we will engage 1000 families and individuals one-to-one conversations, small group meetings and Listening Sundays to hear their concerns. When this effort concludes later this fall, Interfaith Action will call together faith and community leaders to help shape a new agenda for Rochester.
